Colors learning and activities for kids

Have you kid turned to one year??
Now its the time to make your kid learn something new everyday. He can't speak more clearly yet but he can see and recognize things now.

Start by showing your baby different colours.  Learning colours is the first step towards study of your toddler. Colors are all around us. Every where there is a color so, make your child first learn colors.

I remember when my daughter turned 1 I was very excited to learn her different colors. One day we saw a kite and it was of yellow colour and I told her that
            
                "Look baby it's yellow". 

Then few days later her father brought some mangoes and she said 

             " mama ehm" 

it's also yellow. She remembered the colour even when she couldn't speak. And I was so happy. Then where ever I find yellow colour I ask "baby what's colour is it?"
She said " mama it's ehm".
So, never put stress on your child. Keep them easy and relax. Just keep them busy in small activities.

Methodology:

  • Whenever you are in a kitchen and cutting a tomato show it to your child that it has a red color. Same with other vegetables.
  • When you cross a door tell your child that its a brown color.
  • When you go outside tell them colors of different things like the rose is red, the sun is yellow.














  Look the tomato is RED                                                                             Look the chili is GREEN.



Look the door is BROWN

Look the Sun flower is YELLOW                                                                   The rose is RED


Your child will learn in enjoying. They will learn the colors and they don't even come to know that you are teaching them... 

This is real time  fun in learning. Keep your babies busy by showing them different colors of different objects many times a day and remind them old colors in the meanwhile.
